Web and Network Real-Time Monitoring
Harvester web crawler software is able to discover visual content on entire websites and networks which can be analysed to determine the nature of the content - fingerprinted, adult, illegal, copyright violations etc. The collected files can be categorised, fingerprinted and forensically reported for subsequent remedial action.

File Fingerprinting
Our image mapping technology ingests video frames at a speed of up to 60 times real time to create a fingerprint for subsequent matching of scanned files. This means a one hour video could be ingested in one minute. The size of the fingerprint depends on the size of the file but on average this would be 24kb. The matching of video files against the fingerprint is also very fast and up to 20 times real time.
Accuracy
Our image mapping methodology enables reliable file matching because the software is also matching exact and closely matched frames. Typically snippets of a video lasting only 10 seconds can be successfully matched against original files in this way. Extensive internal and external testing confirms these accuracy levels.
Forensic Reporting
Detailed reporting of web sites scanned and files matched or not matched are generated and exported to data sheets for forensic confirmation. Web crawling detection can be improved by using these reports to monitor content reappearing on detected URLs.
Integration to Existing Platforms and Workflows
Harvester scanning software has a small footprint and can be provided as an API plug-in to existing automated review systems. The scanning results are reported as scores out of 100. The score value can be fed to an existing automated system to provide coordinated return values. Harvester comes with a customizable graphic user interface.
