VideoScanner is compatible with Fortium’s ICA plug-in which expands VideoScanner’s capabilities to filter content and categorise the media into suitable and unsuitable content.

Similis – Image Spam

Fortium’s development for the detection of Image SPAM is Similis. Using a proprietary fingerprint technique Similis accurately identifies images typically used in SPAM which have similar content and characteristics regardless of file format. Even when an image has been resized, cropped, watermarked, edited, reflected and rotated, Similis can detect images which match those in a defined database.

Using large output sources such as existing databases and content-sharing web based utilities, Similis is able to accurately identify images which have similar content and characteristics.
